After-Care Instructions

Thank you for choosing KW Infusion Clinic! We hope you’re feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. To help you get the most out of your treatment, please follow the simple after-care guidelines below.
🌿 General After-Care for All Treatments (IV, IM, and SC)

Hydrate well throughout the day—your body loves the extra support!

Eat a balanced meal to help maintain stable energy levels.

Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for the rest of the day.

If you feel lightheaded, take a moment to rest and sip water.

Mild tenderness at the injection or IV site is normal and should improve within 24–48 hours.
💧 IV Hydration Therapy After-Care

Keep the bandage on for at least 30 minutes after your appointment.

It’s common to have slight bruising or tenderness at the IV site—this should fade quickly.

Avoid heavy lifting or pressure on the arm used for your IV for the remainder of the day.

If you notice increasing redness, swelling, warmth, or pain, please reach out to us.
💉 Vitamin Injections (IM & SC) After-Care
Intramuscular (IM) Injections

You may experience mild soreness in the muscle—this is totally normal.

Light movement (like walking) can help ease muscle tightness.

Avoid intense workouts involving the injected muscle for 24 hours.
Subcutaneous (SC) Injections

Minor redness or a small bump at the injection site may appear—this usually resolves on its own.

Avoid rubbing or applying pressure to the area.

If you experience persistent itching or irritation, let us know.
